Lighthouse

Intro Lead me through the darkness – shine a light on me
Give me hope and brightness – guide me through the sea
1. Sail upon the endless ocean – hoist the sails for unknown shores
Set off with mixed emotion – open up closed doors.
Catch a glimpse at a distant horizon – like a ghostlight causes thrill
But then like a starlight risin’: – a lighthouse on the hill. - Übergang
R. Light – Lighthouse – a tower made for centuries.
Light – Lighthouse – built to rule our destinies.
Light – Lighthouse – time to shine a light on me.
Light – Lighthouse – guide me through the stormy – guide … guide … sea.
2. A million stars in the sky are shinin’ – like a guardian at the sea
Over boats and seamen watching – for eternity.
Howling winds while the moon is risin’ – black clouds turn again
But the candle is still burning – in thunder and rain. - Übergang

3. Lighthouse stands like a giant stranger – a seagull passes by
Beam a light against darkness and danger – through the darkened sky.
Guarding ships against cliff and haze – rescue from mortal fear
Break through a tangled maze – and the course is clear. - Übergang
